Web Designer/Optimizer
Overview
Nautalex Software Services Incorporated is a networking and internet solutions provider.
We are currently seeking a skilled individual for a multi-faceted, full-time position. This job is suitable for someone who can manage several tasks while still meeting deadlines.
We need a person who can perform duties in web development, computer programming, keyword research, search engine optimization, and graphic design.
Responsibilities
Web Development and Computer Programming
- Deliver quality web design by collaborating with developers and clients
- Create website layouts, templates and interfaces
- Assist with website enhancements to improve the online user experience
- Contribute to designing the architecture of web interfaces
- Provide quality assurance and troubleshooting for websites
- Research web development tools and issues
- Learn to use new web development tools when required
- Consult internal and external technical support staff to resolve issues
Keyword Research and Search Engine Optimization
- Research keywords and phrases for search engine optimization
- Review website content in order to assign keywords and phrases to pages
- Optimize websites for targeted keywords and phrases
- Generate search engine ranking reports for clients
- Manage reciprocal link campaigns for websites
Graphic Design and Word Processing
- Design website images, layouts, templates and interfaces
- Design newsletters, advertisements, brochures and forms
- Edit website text to incorporate targeted keywords and phrases
- Edit newsletters and brochures
Requirements
- Ability to write and speak English well
- Skills in word processing, internet research and graphic design
- Knowledge of web development and computer programming
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript and CSS
- Experience with web development tools such as Dreamweaver and Photoshop
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Assets
- Experience with Google Anlaytics, and Google Adwords
- Experience with PHP, RSS, CRON, Blogger, FTP and mySQL
- Knowledge of search engine optimization
- Understanding of different browser constraints
